Job Description

We are working with a well-established power producer to find a Maintenance Manager who will manage the mechanical maintenance activities at their coal-fired power plant.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage preventive/predictive maintenance activities; ensure equipment reliability
  • Create and implement maintenance procedures
  • Conduct routine inspections to detect and resolve equipment issues
  • Maintenance planning
  • Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance
  • Manage the maintenance activities within the power plant
  • Prepare work orders; provide job expectations and performance feedback
  • Ensure maintenance activities are performed on time and within budget
  • Ensure the safe operation & maintenance of plant equipment


Requirements:

  • Must have knowledge of power plant or manufacturing mechanical maintenance (steam turbines, pumps, fans, coal handling equipment, air compressors, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering field
  • Experience supervising a Union workforce
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
