We are looking to fill a full time Maintenance Manager position with a manufacturer located in the area of Syracuse, NY. Sponsorship transfers ok.

• Troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical and pneumatical aptitude)
• SPC (data Driven individual)
• PM program management
• CMMS or M+ knowledge,

SALARY RANGE: $110k to $130k

Maintenance Manager must be able to work within a team environment or solo and must have the ability to use precision measuring devices such as Voltmeters, and other measuring instruments. Maintenance Manager must be proficient with NFPA 70. Maintenance manager will be responsible for employee supervision, safety training, and scheduling. Hydraulics and pneumatics welding machine repair experience required.

Maintenance Manager must have good verbal and written communication skills, be well organized and highly dependable with attention to detail.

Job Functions:

• Perform electrical work requiring high degree of trade skill to install, test, inspect, adjust, repair and wire all plant equipment and circuits to required voltages and tolerances.
• Maintenance Manager must be able to locate, diagnose and remedy troubles quickly to avoid shutdowns.
• Maintenance Manager must be able to read, write and analyze electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Maintenance Manager must have broad knowledge of electrical principles, wiring specification codes and handbook formulas along with a working knowledge of PLC’s, VFD’s, Motor Control, and Power Distribution.
• Able to fabricate material to be used for electrical equipment.
• Determine proper type, size of materials and equipment for the job, including power requirements.
• Maintenance Manager must be proficient w/ Microsoft Excel, ability to learn company specific computer based programs
• Use all types of testing instruments.
• Adjust all plant equipment to proper operating characteristics.

Education:

Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.

Work Experience:

• Maintenance Manager Experience in Manufacturing
• 5-10 year Industrial Electrical and Mechanical experience
