Maintenance Jobs

Job Summary:

Maintains the physical condition of the hotel according to established company standards.

Job Duties:

• Performs general guest room and public area maintenance.
• Completes preventive maintenance checklists and other maintenance records.
• Performs general carpentry, tiling, painting, wall surface repairs, basic electrical repairs and basic plumbing repairs.
• Checks guest rooms for maintenance issues and performs any maintenance needed.
• Responds in a timely, courteous manner to guest questions, complaints or requests.
• Properly maintains tools, workspaces and equipment.
• Performs other dutites as asigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop and reach upward.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers.
• Minimum of two years maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with general maintenance tools.
• Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing maintenance.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
