Channellock, Inc., an award-winning and leading manufacturer in pliers, is seeking an individual to add their knowledge and skills to our Maintenance team as an Entry Level Maintenance Associate. The primary function of the Maintenance Class 3 associate involves general maintenance duties of a skilled nature.
Shift:
2nd or 3rd

In this position, you will be responsible for:

• Install and keep shop electrical equipment and wiring, motors, starters, switches, panel boards, overhead cranes, etc. in good repair and operating condition.
• Install and repair air, gas, and water lines.
• Set up rigging and install or move equipment such as furnaces, drop hammers, milling machines, polishing machines, etc.
• Install and maintain any carpentry work, roofing, plumbing, masonry, and refractory work.
• Troubleshooting a variety of complex problems in fluidic, mechanical, or electrical systems using blueprints, schematics, and previous experience.
• Miscellaneous duties include performing any lower-level job, directing assistants from lower-level jobs, and participating in training programs.
• Install, maintain, and change high voltage supply power and other circuits.
• Silver solder in fabrication and repair of RF coils and coolant lines
• Weld a variety of alloy metals and cast iron

You must be:

• Be a team player as they will be working with other technical and maintenance personnel in combined efforts and responsibilities.
• Mechanically inclined
• Be able to lift at least 60 lbs.
• A self-starter with job responsibilities
