Role Overview:
This position prepares, scans, and indexes all paper and electronic updates in a timely and efficient manner. It prepares bill statements, cancellations, renewals, agent mail, and any other out going mail, meeting all USPS regulations and in a timely and efficient manner. It opens and distributes all in-coming USPS mail and other vendor shipments.
A day in the life of a Mail & Document Processing Specialist
1. Assembles policies (cycle output for all lines of business and transaction types), applies USPS regulations, postage, and ensures count for audit is complete daily.
2. Operates the following equipment: postage machine, inserter, scanner, copier/printer, cutter, and letter opener.
3. Prepares, scans, and indexes all paper and electronic documents and/or files from business units.
4. Opens, date stamps, and distributes all in-coming USPS mail. Logs any cash money received for audit purposes.
5. Distributes and coordinates the pick-up of all other vendor shipments, UPS, FedEx, etc.
7. Performs other duties as assigned to assist the Mail and Document Processing team with executing daily work and team goals.
On Occasion you may also:
1. Monitors inventory, and orders supplies for mail purposes, such as envelopes and forms.
2. Maintains volume sheet of work processed.
3. Cross-trains with other team members on supplementary tasks;
4. Tracks and logs daily machine counts, mail counts, batch counts.
5. Cleans all equipment.
6. Assists with special projects as needed.
7. Fills-in for other team members during absences and assist others with work as needed.
8. Serves as back-up for daily count entry for mail volumes.

2. Possess good hand-eye coordination.
3. Works well and supports workflows within a team and production environment.
4. Understands and demonstrates strong customer experience acumen.
5. Maintains confidentiality.
6. Possess basic analytical and math skills.
7. Possess up-to-date computer, Microsoft Office, and software knowledge.
8. Are able to lift up to 50lbs.
