Job Description
Overview:
Central States Health & Welfare and Pension Funds are two of the largest, multibillion dollar non-profit trust funds in the country. The Funds administer health and pension benefits to nearly one million Teamster members and participants with over 1,000 contributing employers to the Funds. The new building (constructed in 2019) is walking distance to the CTA Blue Line and close to O’Hare Airport.

The Mail Clerk/Driver performs a variety of daily duties related to the processing of incoming and outgoing organizational mail. The Mail Clerk/Driver has a high level of visibility within and outside the organization.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will operate mail processing machines, pickup and deliver mail and other items within and outside of the business building, perform jobs as assigned, and chauffeur business associates to/from various locations.
Qualifications:
A valid driver’s license and safe driving records are imperative, good interpersonal skills, mechanical aptitude for machine and computer operation, and familiarity of the Chicagoland area is required. The successful candidate will need to be able to lift 35 lbs. of material and be able to work on their feet for prolonged periods of time throughout the day.
