Job Description

Pentair has a job opportunity for you!

Join us as a Machine Operator in our North Aurora, IL facility.
You will be responsible for setting up and operating a group of computer-controlled CNC horizontal and vertical machining center, manual horizontal or vertical boring machines, and accessories to perform a variety of machining operations simultaneously. You will also operate a radial and spindle drill.

More details about the opportunity:
  • Perform a variety of machining operations on an assortment of component parts. This includes face, bore, turn, ream, threat, drill, tap, grind, chamfer, spot-face and assemble
  • Work from blueprints, bills of materials, process documents, written procedures, and verbal instructions
  • Perform necessary material handling throughout the sequence of operations
  • File burns and stem identification on parts as directed
  • Position tools and parts in machines, securing an aligning as required, using hoists and cranes as required

Position hours/shifts (Overtime Available!):

3:00 PM – 11:00 PM 2nd shift

Physical Requirements:

Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 100lbs. Steel toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.
