Machine Operator | All Levels Of Experience

ProAmpac, a leading global flexible packaging company, is currently seeking detail oriented, eager and positive machine operators with a hunger for a fast-paced environment and desire for continued learning and growth here at our Hartford, WI facility.

We are hiring entry level and experienced machine operators in our printing department for our flexographic printing presses, lamination machine as well as plate mounting technicians. We are also seeking blown film extrusion operators, slitter operators and converting bag machine operators.

Wage Range Based On Experience

• Weekend shift premiums: Saturday: time & a half | Sunday: double time
• 2nd & 3rd Shift premiums: $1 - $2/hour, respectively
• Highly Skilled Operator Wages generally rage from $22-$28+/hour based on experience
• Entry Level Operator wages generally ranges from $18-$21/hour based one experience

Hours vary per department

• 10 and 12 hour shifts available
• Weekday and Weekend shifts available
• First, second and 3rd/overnight shifts available
• Full Time

Please find a brief description of each machine operator technician role below:

• Blow Film Extruder - Major Job Function: The Extrusion Line Operator controls and monitors the film production of his or her designated line(s). They operate blown film extruders which includes understanding how the resin structure works, how to run the extruders and prepare for both change overs and cleaning of dies.
• Flexographic Press Operator & Laminator Operators – Major Job Function: Our operators are responsible for running a flexographic printing press or lamination machine. They set up the machine and ensure all raw material are approved for use. They also ensure print design conforms with job specs, reviews samples for quality control and identify nonconformities while following applicable safety guidelines.
• Converting Operator & Slitting Operator - Major Job Function: Our converting operators efficiently operate a converting bag machine. They are responsible for setting up the machine, completing roll changes, producing quality bags and handling the finished product.

Requirements Include But Are Not Limited To

• HS diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of basic measurements and can use a tape measure
• Ability to read work instructions and learn and use scheduling computer software
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Able to stand for a 10 or 12 hour shift
