Join our Team! SUMMARY Operate rollforming machinery per order and ensure conformity of finished work. HOURS 7:00 am - 3:30 pm M-F WHAT WILL PUT YOU AHEAD Farm equipment operation and maintenance experience Automotive repair and maintenance experience Technical or trade school coursework Mechanical aptitude Manufacturing experience - forklift operation, overhead cranes/hoists, etc. Blueprint reading experience Troubleshooting capabilities A positive attitude ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Operate machinery to cut, shape, or form metal to specifications Ensure conformity of finished work May be required to learn and operate drills, forklifts, overhead hoists, and other equipment as needed. Clean and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on machines Must work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries per our safety rules and regulations Perform other duties as assigned. SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED/PREFERRED Strong mechanical aptitude Able to use and understand all precision measuring instruments. Basic math, fractions, and decimals Ability to read and understand blueprints, bills of material, setup sheets, etc. Able to use a wide variety of hand tools. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Machine Operator should be able to stand for long periods and be adaptable to a changing work environment Requires bending, twisting, lifting, walking Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED/PREFERRED Prefer previous manufacturing experience OTHER REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES Ability to change assignments frequently Can work well independently and with others Observes safety and security procedures by using equipment and materials properly Is consistently at work and on time, ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent Follows instructions, and responds to management direction.
