We are currently hiring a Full-Time Machine Operator – 2nd Shift
  • Available schedules are 2:00pm to 10:30pm (Monday through Friday) OR 12pm to 10:30pm (Sunday through Wednesday)

What You’ll Do
  • Loading, sorting and prepping lenses for processing.
  • Monitor machine status for auto surfacing line that generates Rx prescription.
  • Ensure lenses are clean of dust and debris.
  • Prepare and clean lenses to load into trays for processing.
  • May include inserting completed lenses into frames.
  • Visual inspection of the lenses after process.
  • Set up lenses into racks, feed, or load lenses into machine.
  • Use or load specialized coating machines to add treatments to surfaced lenses.
Qualifications
  • Able to read and write English language.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be willing to work overtime when needed (may include weekends or holidays).
  • Experience in the Optical Industry as it relates to ophthalmic lenses is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • While performing the duties of this job, most positions will require the employee to stand and use hands to manipulate or handle lenses or lab trays.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
