Job Description

We are more than 900 Frulacteans, bringing know-how to our clients from our sites in Europe (Portugal, France, Germany and Switzerland), North America (Canada) and Africa (Morocco and South Africa). Frulact’s headquarters are based in Maia, and the group is participated by Ardian, a world leading private investment company.


We are looking for a Logistic Manager for our plant in Utah, Logan.



RESPONSABILITIES

- Inbound Process Management

  • Receive raw materials (RM) and packaging materials (ME)
  • Ensure the transfer of raw materials between warehouses
  • Ensure the correct packaging of allergens, biologicals, open packages, flammables and packaging materials
  • Check delivery plan


-Management of shipping process

  • Request documentation to various bodies (Embassies, Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Customs Brokers, DRAP among others)
  • Manage and monitor the orders placed by the other units of the group, getting all the necessary validations to meet delivery deadlines
  • Prepare the shipping processes for the extra-EU market


Warehouse management

  • Ensure the replenishment of stocks between warehouses
  • To respect the FIFO (First In First Out) and FEFO (First Expire First Out) procedures
  • Carry out, monitor and verify inventories
  • Control incoming and outgoing goods in external storage
  • Ensure the conformity of the invoicing in the external storage and validate the respective documents
  • Create transport purchase orders associated with external storage


Leadership

  • Validate the documents of Extra Work and Service Communication of the employees of the Logistics and subsequent submission to FrUPeople
  • Manage, assess and develop the skills and technical knowledge of team members
  • Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by the entire team
  • Ensure performance monitoring while maintaining the motivation and development of the team (training and career)
  • Ensure compliance with the objectives, budget, quality, safety environment and best practices;
  • Promote and optimize the continuous improvement as well as the fulfillment of the objectives established for the area
  • Accompany, monitor and train new employees, evaluating them according to the skills expected in the objective of their recruitment


PROFILE

  • Proficiency in English
  • Experience in food production, service, manufacturing preferred
  • Complete highschool
  • At least 2 year experience working in a logistic environment
  • Basic computer skills with inventory control are required, experience with SAP
