Responsibilities


Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Warehouse/Driver associate is responsible for receiving, shipping, inspecting, storing, and delivering materials, supplies, and equipment.


Assists with overall warehouse operations, planning, and daily activities, including receiving and stowing, picking and packing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation. Supports the planning of efficient layouts, workflows, and utilization of warehouse space. Monitors the safety and security of goods and materials. Utilizes a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other databases to track, analyze, and report processes and performance.


Essential, key job responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:


  • Ability to work independently
  • Be able to operate a forklift and pallet jack
  • Keep vehicle organized, clean and tidy
  • Unload truck and take equipment inside to specific area at the customer site.
  • Document delivery time and location
  • Inputs data from shipping documents and inventory into existing management systems.
  • Keep a clean and safe work environment
  • Collect signature upon arrival to the recipient client
  • Follow scheduled route for deliveries
  • Receives incoming material, supplies, and equipment comparing information on the packing slip with the purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment.
  • Performs other related responsibilities as necessary
  • Physical requirements, lift 20-70 lbs., bend, stand, squat, push
  • Ensure inventory stock matches delivery packing slips
  • Load and organize product inventory from the warehouse into box truck and load products in and out of the truck as needed.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office systems
  • Maintain truck to ensure it remains in good driving condition


Qualifications


The following are minimum qualifications and requirements required for this role:


  • A clean driving record with no moving violations
  • Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Proficient at driving and parking large vehicles
  • Valid driver's license
  • Dependable and hardworking
  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Physically fit and strong, able to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably
  • Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts is a plus
