POSITION: LocksmithREPORTS TO: Coordinator of Buildings & GroundsACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE: This position is accountable for installation and repair of door closers, exit devices, Mortice lock, Cylindrical lockset, and Electrical striker.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: (to be included along with other responsibilities)This position is accountable for the following end results: 1. Responsibility for the installation and repair of: Door Closers - experience with - L.C.N, Sargent, Norton, Corbin Russwin and others. Exit Device(s) experience with Von Duprin, Sargent, Corbin Russwin, and others. Cylindrical Lockset experience with - Marks, Corbin Russwin, Schlage, Sargent and others.
Electric Striker Body Prewire experience with HFS, Folger Adams, and others. 2. Responsibility for keying and master keying all school buildings. Experience keying system Corbin Russwin, Schlage, Sargent and others.3.
Responsibility for the maintenance and repair of Hinge, push/pull plates, kick plates, door stop along with other door hardware.4. Responsibility for assisting in loading, assembling etc. of necessary equipment. 5.

Performance of other job-related duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Minimum five years (5) of full time experience as a Locksmith.
2. Must possess a valid Massachusetts motor vehicle operators license. Travel from school to school will be necessary.3. Must have a working knowledge of all state and local codes and legislation as well as be proficient in reading and understanding building blue prints.4.
Must be available to respond to emergency calls after hours.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.2. Must be able to stoop and bend for long periods of time and work on hands and knees. 3.
Must be able to work alone.4. Must be able to climb ladders and carry all necessary tools.SALARY: See Salary ScheduleWORK YEAR: 12 months (52 WEEKS)WORK DAY: 11 am 7 pm.
