Under the general supervision of a designated supervisor, Local Education & CEPA Partnerships Coordinator, utilizing exceptional communication and collaboration skills, supports the partnerships between CMC and local PreK-12 schools, building and maintaining relationships and providing information, program coordination, communication and customer service for an array of educational opportunities for concurrent enrollment students and local school district personnel. As a highly visible CMC representative, the incumbent consistently demonstrates a strong service commitment, professionally and effectively communicating with a diverse group of students, faculty, staff and community partners, working as a cooperative and contributing member of multiple teams. The Local Education Partnerships and CEPA Coordinator is committed to enhancing educational opportunities within local schools and promoting the vision and mission of Colorado Mountain College. Examples may include a Bachelors and two years related experience, or equivalent education and experience that will provide the necessary knowledge, skill and abilities to perform the functions of the position. Experience in K-12 schools preferred. Special Skills or abilities directly applicable to the position: Knowledge of concurrent enrollment programs, procedures and requirements, current trends in PreK-12 education, and current practices and technology utilized in student services. Exceptional verbal, written, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external parties. Demonstration of confidentiality, discretion and professionalism. Organization and prioritization while exercising flexibility, teamwork and humor.
