Position Summary

The University of New Mexico Athletics Department is accepting applications for LoboTV Production Assistants for the 2021-22 academic year. LoboTV is the video production outlet for Lobo athletics that handles video-board and live-streaming productions. Hours would be primarily on game days, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities: This position will provide real-world, hands-on experience in live sports production for UNM Athletics in the following areas:

  • Video editing
  • Camera setup/operation
  • Replay operation
  • Possibility for on-camera experience
  • Video-board operation
  • Live-stream producing
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Video Switcher operation

Conditions of Employment
  • All regular, non-temporary positions assigned to this classification are represented by a labor union and subject to the terms and conditions of the CWA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED; no previous experience required.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

  • Must have strong communication skills, be able to take directions, and have the ability to work as a team
  • Must demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
