Job Description
General Duties: Performs patrols, detailed visual inspections, and ground-level onsite corrective maintenance of the Company’s electric distribution system. Ground-level corrective maintenance activities are limited to those activities safely performed without qualified electrical worker training and as identified to be completed by Line Inspectors in the Company’s Corrective Maintenance Program Manual. Ground-level corrective maintenance excludes ground wire and guy wire repairs. Installation of yellow guy guard covers is permitted. Identifies and records infractions according to CPUC General Order(s) 95, 128, 165, and SDG&E construction/design standards. May perform fielding activities, including accurately identifying job requirements, in support of design work orders created by others. Performs other related duties as assigned or required.
