Zachry is seeking experienced Light Equipment Operators to support earthworks at Venture Global's Plaquemines LNG project in Port Sulphur, LA.

Position Summary

• They will also be responsible for safety, equipment inspections, and possibly assisting with repairs.
• The position will be expected to assist other crafts in their down times which may include non-operating activities.
• Industrial Light Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating all of the following varies construction equipment including but not limited to bobcats, bulldozers, excavators, front-end loaders, backhoes, rollers, RT forklift, and graders, 4,000 Gallon Water Truck, 84' Steel Drum Roller, 84' Padfoot Roller, JD 744 Loader, and tractor w/ plow to move earth and other materials.

Qualification Highlights

• Must have 2+ years of experience as an Equipment Operator.
• May be required to have a valid driver’s license and meet a motor vehicle records check.
• Must have all required tools. Must have reliable transportation.
• Must possess all Knowledge Skills and Abilities for positions.
• Must be able to meet all physical requirements.

Position Responsibilities

• Will be responsible for all safety aspects of operating the equipment.
• Will inspect equipment.
• Other duties as assigned
• May follow signal directions from a signaler in equipment operations.
• Will operate various construction dirt equipment to move the earth and equipment in precision processes.
• Will access area of operations for safety issues and required processes and planning of equipment operations.

• Must have knowledge of and be familiar with soil types.
• Must be able to follow instructions correctly.
• Must be willing and able to follow all instructed safety regulations.
• Must have experience and knowledge of operating varies construction equipment including but not limited to bobcats, bulldozers, excavators, front-end loaders, backhoes, rollers, RT forklift, and graders.
• Must have basic mechanical knowledge and illustrate the abilities to inspect equipment.
• Must be able to make it work on time and work the designated schedule and any overtime as needed with the proper notification.
• Must illustrate knowledge of excavating and the specifications that are required for a given excavation.
• Must be reliable, accountable, and consistent in performing administrative processes such as but not limited to equipment inspection paperwork.

Preferred Additional Qualification

• Former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc.
• Current Zachry or Zachry ROF’ed employee.
• Valid Driver’s License
