Premier Aquatics is currently hiring lifeguards for the summer in Menifee! We are looking for individuals who are outgoing, responsible, and have a passion for water safety! We can also help you build your resume and college application by offering leadership training and safety credentials. Whether you’re a rookie or a seasoned vet, if you are looking to start a career in public safety, Premier Aquatics could be the right home for you!
Summary
In this role, you will ensure the safety of visitors at our aquatic facility. You will be supervised by Loop Managers. As a lifeguard, you will explain safety rules to patrons, warn them about unsafe situations, and enforce the pool rules for the facility. You will also be responsible for opening and closing procedures as needed.
Essential Duties

• Report maintenance issues to management.
• Ensures that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures for the facility are followed.
• Evaluates conditions for safety and activates emergency action plan if necessary.
• Completes other duties as needed.
• Maintain focus at a high level for extended periods of time.
• Advises guests of improper activities or dangers and enforces facility regulations and policies.
• Responds to emergency situations and administers first-aid when necessary.
• Inspects pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure that they are safe and usable.
• Complete daily opening/closing procedure checklists.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patrons, co-workers, and management.
• Ability to work independently.

Qualifications
Minimum

• Must be at least 15 years of age and be able to obtain a work permit if under the age of 18.
• Be able to work a minimum of 1 day a week and have one day of weekend availability.
• Must have ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours.
• Be able to obtain a StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certification.
• Reliability and commitment to scheduled shifts.
• Candidate must be enthusiastic, outgoing, and have a willingness to interact with the public.
• Reliable transportation.

Preferred

• Have prior lifeguard experience.

• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Certification.
• Be able to work a minimum of 2 days a week and have one day of weekend availability.
