Job Summary

This position is part-time and is located in Bemidji, MN. The hours of work and shifts are generally between 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. with some weekend and holiday shifts. Days of work and hours vary depending on the needs of the site/program.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES:
- Promotes clients' personal hygiene.
- May regulate parenteral fluids and administer intramuscular injection.
- Operate a motor vehicle and possess a current, valid driver’s license
- Administers and records prescribed medication.
- Takes temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure readings.
- Maintains a clean and hazard-free environment.
- Promotes and participates in rehabilitation activities.
- Administers emergency first aid.
- Orders supplies and equipment.
- Keeps clinical charts and reports on the physical and emotional state of clients.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Current licensure in Minnesota as a Practical Nurse
- Graduation from an approved school of nursing
- Must have a valid driver's license
