Role Description

VBeyond is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team on a contract basis. This is a onsite role and the successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. The Licensed Practical Nurse will assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.


Qualifications

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and medical equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with electronic health records
  • Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
  • Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain medical records
  • Ability to develop and implement nursing care plans
  • Ability to assess patient health problems and needs
  • Relevant experience in a healthcare setting
  • Must possess a valid LPN license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
