Job Description

About us

The ideal candidate will reside in the District of Columbia or state of Maryland and MUST be licensed as an LICSW-C in one or both locations.

Lighthouse Therapeutic Services (LTS) is dedicated to supporting clients from all walks of life through mental health counseling, behavioral support, and life skill development. We are a fee-for-service practice serving clients in DC and Maryland, virtually. Committed to the wellness of all clients, their families, and our community through prevention, intervention, treatment, and education.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote crisis stabilization to at-risk clients.
  • Meet with clients virtually to address concerns by conducting clinical intakes and referring clients to the appropriate resources.
  • Talk with clients about their feelings, thoughts and actions, using Trauma Informed Care language to promote healthy clinical relationship.
  • Complete and maintain accurate documentation of cases within EMR database.
  • Educate clients about resources, eligibility, and services with a positive and professional approach.
  • Provide clients with positive experiences and satisfaction by using critical thinking and problem solving skills.
