Position: Licensed CBT Therapist
Classification: 1099 Contractor/W-2 Employee (See clarification below), Fee-for-Service, Part-Time
Hours: Varies based on caseload. Must be available to practice in-person at least two afternoons (2-7pm) per week

Position Summary:
We are looking for highly skilled and personable mental health clinicians (psychologists, social workers, etc.) to join our existing team of Child, Adolescent and Adult, Family and Couples’ Therapists who specialize in evidence-based treatments, such as CBT, PCIT, PMT and ERP to treat children, adolescents and families struggling with anxiety, OCD, mood disorders, disruptive behavior and ADHD.

Position Responsibilities:

• Keep timely and accurate patient records
• Provide evidence-based individual and/or group treatment to children, adolescents and families utilizing primarily CBT-oriented modalites
• Collaborate with supervisors, colleagues, and collateral providers from a “Growth Mindset”
• Professional development opportunities within and outside of the organization through supervision and workshops
• Complete billing log and session notes within 24 hours of service provision
• Actively seek parent and/or patient feedback regarding programming and therapy goals

Position Qualifications:

• Experience with the ASD population is preferred
• Solid time management, writing, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Malpractice insurance and NPI number
• PCIT certification is preferred
• Commitment to MPG’s mission, vision, and core values
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience using evidence-based CBT interventions (CBT, PMT, ERP, PCIT) to treat children and adolescents with anxiety, mood disorders, ODD and ADHD is required
• NY state licensure to practice psychotherapy (psychologist/social worker/licensed mental health professional) is required

Classification, Compensation & Benefits

Part-time, Hourly W-2 Employees (mandatory for any clinician that requires supervision, i.e.a LMSW completing supervision requirements towards LCSW):

• Hourly rate of $120

Part-time, Hourly Independent Contractors (Fully Licensed, Independent Psychotherapists including but not limited to Psychologists, LCSW, LMHC):

• Hourly rate of $120-200 depending on experience
