Library Manager Jobs

Our St Paul's School of Nursing in Staten Island is currently seeking candidates to join our campus as a Library Manager to manage the Learning Resource Manager.

Summary of Duties:

• Submit monthly reports useage reports the National LRC Director, Dean of Education and/or Campus President
• Attend meetings, collaborate with other Library Managers, and the National LRC Director on library program projects
• Maintain library standards of all applicable accreditation and regulatory agencies
• Participate in professional development activities
• Maintain thorough records of library activities and services
• Provide in person and remote library/reference assistance via Zoom, call, LibChat/LibAnswers, or other methods accessible to the student
• Record reference transactions accurately using RefAnalytics
• Provide input to accreditation submissions related to library and information resources and technology, review documents related to the library
• Manage staff and ensure the Learning Resource Center is properly staffed

Qualifications:

• Master degree in Library Science or similarly ALA approved degree program
• Knowledge of current technologies relevant to library services
• Excellent organizational skills
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Ability to maintain thorough recrods and deliver reporting on time
• Proficiency in use of library databases

Classification: Exempt

Work Hours: 40hrs per week but may vary daily, some evening and weekend hours may be required

Travel: Occasional

Working Environment: Interior/Office, student facing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $65,000.00 per year
