Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

GUEST SERVICE/COMMUNICATION

  • Anticipate guest needs
  • Provide customers with information and directions
  • Respond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints with a positive attitude.
  • Recognize and cultivate regular guests and repeat business
  • Report any incidents of theft, vandalism, or violations to Management
  • Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through your work area throughout shift
  • Greet all guests promptly, with a friendly and upbeat attitude
  • Appear at scheduled promotional events as directed by management
  • Maintain social media presence in conformity with LEX standards using company provided accounts
  • Maintain all LEX Sequence of Service Standards
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner
  • Ability to communicate in English with guests and co-workers
  • Execute marketing campaigns and strategies as directed by management
  • Provide information to guests regarding our venues, menus and pricing
  • Adhere to all LEX Standard Operating Procedures

PROMOTIONAL AND MARKETING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Focuses on the development of a personal clientele list
  • Adheres to all specified marketing requirements and guidelines (guest list, reservations, company provided social media accounts, etc.)
  • Pose for pictures as requested by management, appear in costume or designated logo apparel for promotional activities at or away from venue.
  • Interacts with potential clients in professional, cordial, and exemplary manner
  • Develop personal marketing plan to meet marketing goals as outlined by management
  • Must have a Facebook page that will be created for you by company & LEX (ex: John/Jane Doe at LEX Nightclub)
  • Marketing and promoting venue specific events
  • Regular participation in out-of-venue promotional events
  • Participate and appear in marketing, publicity or media materials in the capacity as instructed.
  • Follow up with guests post visit to ensure repeat business

ENTERTAINMENT ASPECTS:

  • Assist in presentation aspects of Bottle service.
  • Must be able to assist promotional Model Servers with identifying guests for introduction to other guests.
  • Must have the ability to participate in all theatrics…including the ability to lift heavy props.
  • Must be able to wear different costumes throughout shift.

CLEANING/MAINTENANCE:

  • Polish and wash glassware throughout shift
  • Gets change for registers as required
  • Sweep and mop as needed
  • Prepares all mixes and garnishes
  • Place all trash in proper receptacles
  • Keep the venue clean and free of dirty glasses, dirty ashtrays, trash, etc
  • Ensure proper rotation of all liquor, beer, wine and consumable items
  • Keep back bar clean and organized
  • Clean all spills and waste immediately
  • Ensure daily/weekly and opening/running/closing duties are completed
  • Record and report any equipment failure and/or safety hazards to a Manager immediately
  • Maintain opening/closing liquor, beer, wine and consumables par
  • Maintain LEX Safety and Sanitation Standards
  • Proper set up and maintenance of banquet function spaces

RESPONSIBLE ALCOHOL MANAGEMENT

  • Comply with all state and federal liquor laws
  • Monitor potentially intoxicated and/or disruptive guests and promptly bring to a Manager’s attention
  • Recognize and acknowledge when guests are becoming intoxicated and/or are intoxicated
  • Comply with all safety and health department procedures as well as Company and/or departmental policies/procedures

RESPONSIBILITIES/TEAMWORK/DEPARTMENT

  • Provide service to Model Marketing Bartenders and Promo Model Marketing Cocktail Servers in a timely manner
  • Responsible to ensure all stocking is complete, requisitions are filled out and any shortage of stock is reported
  • Assist all other team members as needed
  • Related duties as assigned based on extensive experience working in a club and /or entertainment venue
  • Ability to create and maintain service rapport through the LEX philosophy
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned
  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to LEX standards
  • Inform management of any complaint, comments or incident
  • Appear in costume for all shifts and promotional activities at scheduled time
  • Assist with loading/unloading of miscellaneous equipment, such as boxes, food and beverage products
  • Create and maintain a sense of urgency in executing duties

EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possession of/or ability to possess a 35 Registration and valid Alcohol Awareness card
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Hospitality experience preferred
  • 21+ years of age
  • High School Diploma Required or equivalent
  • Prior promotional modeling experience a plus

WORKING KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Entry level of high volume nightclub operations
  • Working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
  • Anticipate the needs of the bartender
  • Knowledge of drink recipes
  • Communicate with employees and guests
  • Consistently maintain a well-groomed appearance, posture, and hygiene
  • Comfort with being photographed for promotional purposes
  • Listen empathetically and be respectful at all times
  • Liquor, beer and wine
  • Work as a team, stay organized, multi-task, and prioritize
  • Inventory and stock rotation
  • Comfort talking to strangers and making introductions
