Founded in 1881, Spelman College is a private four-year liberal arts college located in Atlanta, GA. The oldest historically Black college for women in the United States, Spelman is a member of the Atlanta University Center Consortium and Atlanta Regional Consortium for Higher Education.

Position Description
The Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Spelman College invites applicants for a one-semester, part-time lecturer for the fall of 2023. We are seeking a candidate who has the ability and willingness to teach the Introduction to Philosophy (2 sections). The successful candidate should be willing to work closely with students at a Liberal Arts college.

Qualifications
A minimum of a Master’s degree from an accredited institution in philosophy at the time of application is required.
