Description:


The Learning Operations Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operations of clients learning programs and services, including:


  • Managing vendors and stakeholders
  • Documentation of information required for finance, reimbursement of subsidies, and cross-charging.
  • Technical support of virtual sessions
  • Responding to requests and queries
  • Recording of live training sessions
  • Other responsibilities may include:
  • Scheduling virtual and face to face trainings
  • Program communications
  • Sending invites
  • Ensuring tracking / measurement of learning programs


Major accountabilities:


  • Identifying and resolving any problems, by developing recommendations and implementing solutions
  • Observing, reviewing, and analyzing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas where improvements could be made
  • Meeting regularly with learning stakeholders to ensure operational needs are defined and met
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal/external coaches, including contracting, scheduling, and regular follow-up of services
  • Ensuring that all departmental policies and procedures are followed
  • Organizing program information, tracking actions and progress, adhering to project timelines and budget
  • Tracking request data to ensure proper budgeting, contracting, and cross-charging
  • Ensuring the tracking of learner data and operational metrics to demonstrate program success and measure effectiveness
  • Ensuring operational compliance to the Belgium Training Plan Law requirements
  • Designing and maintaining clear operational guides to ensure consistency

  • Analytical skills: Tracking learner data and operational metrics, maintaining accurate and complete lists for employee cross-charging
  • Self-management and problem solving: Working within ambiguity, taking initiative to find solutions and solve problems, asking questions to clarify and challenge when need is not clear
  • Organizational skills and Project Management: Managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously with high attention to detail; tracking progress against operational goals; keeping large amounts of information organized.
  • Communication skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
