Learning Facilitator Professional Jobs

The Learning Facilitation Professional 2 conducts or facilitates training courses for organization employees or external audiences. The Learning Facilitation Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

The Learning Facilitation Professional 2 plans, coordinates, and implements all aspects of training programs for participants throughout the organization, including but not limited to instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training.

Will be training on claims and provider correspondence systems used by Humana and is a technical training position.

Selects appropriate materials.

Creates an environment that is conducive to learning and exchanging information, engages the learner, and produces the desired outcomes.

Monitors training personnel records to ensure that employees have met all company training requirements for company, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Analyzes course evaluations in order to judge effectiveness of training sessions and to implement suggestions for improvements.

Evaluates the relevance of online resources to complement the facilitated experience in the fields as appropriate. department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.

Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.

Follows established guidelines/procedures.

In-person classroom facilitation is required periodically.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Claims and Provider Correspondence Systems
• WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
• It is a Work from home position,but will need to facilitate in person occasionally in Louisville for some of the trainings. Will be required to be on location for 3-4 weeks at a time for training sessions. Must be within driveable distance to Louisville.
• Previous Claims process and/or Provider Correspondence type experience would be extremely helpful
• 2 or more years of training or learning development experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing projects or processes
• Master's Degree
• Understanding of curriculum design and adult learning principles
• Experience using a wide variety of training tools to effectively facilitate to a wide audience.
