Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Property and Acquisition Specialist 5 to serve as the Lead Transmittal Reviewer and Title Examiner in the Northwest Region Real Estate Services office (NW RES). The top candidate will serve as both a file reviewer and title examiner, with little to no supervision, to review, close, and transmit files for the acquisition of property rights needed in support of highway construction projects. This position is responsible for tracking and assigning transmittal review tasks and providing training and guidance on transmittal review procedures to existing and incoming staff. This position supports WSDOT's mission by ensuring property rights acquired under the threat of eminent domain comply with Federal Regulations, state laws and WSDOT policies and procedures.
