Job Description

**Lead Operations Specialist**


We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Operations Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in evaluating current practices and needs for operating procedures to guide and educate employees at our facilities. This position will be tasked with creating and delivering a comprehensive development plan, complete with materials, implementation guidance, and training resources.


**Key Responsibilities:**


1. Develop a standardized format for facility operating procedures (SOP), including the ability to produce SOPs in Microsoft Word or an appropriate application.

2. Review, update, and/or modify processing and fractionation facility SOPs, ensuring step-by-step detail to ensure processes are executed accurately, consistently, and safely with a GoalZero mindset. This responsibility will require frequent travel to facilities across LA, TX, and OK.

3. Collaborate with appropriate teams to design consistent employee training programs and schedules for SOP training across processing and fractionation facilities.

4. Maintain regular communication with relevant working relationships to achieve goals, effectively communicating ideas and viewpoints.

5. Ensure clarity, straightforwardness, and comprehensibility when communicating in person or virtually, to effectively train both supervisors and employees.

6. Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills, proficiently prioritize tasks and activities, and show strong aptitude in administrative applications such as MS Word and Outlook.


**Minimum Qualifications:**


1. Minimum of 5 years of operations experience in gas processing plants and/or fractionators.

2. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

3. At least 3 years of teaching or training experience, with experience in safety training preferred.

4. Working knowledge of cryogenic plants is required.

5. Ability to apply learning styles and psychology to facilitate employee learning.

6. Must be proficient in MS Office applications.

7. Possess strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

8. Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, as well as a proven ability for strong attention to detail.

9. Ability to travel 50% of the time.
