(Hybrid Role - 3 Days in office per week)


In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:


  • Ensure existence of and compliance with internal controls
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial reports
  • Interact with clients in answering questions and resolving multifaceted issues regarding fund reports and accounting processes
  • Construct and/or lead various training classes - such as accounting for complex deal structures, record keeping within certain systems, and/or the rolling out of new or changes to existing processes
  • Facilitate audits with internal and external auditors
  • Serve as Portfolio Controller for a large fund or multiple smaller funds.
  • Collaborate with Group Manager to understand complex fund structures and interpret fund legal documents


To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:


  • Knowledge of GAAP, Investment Company, IFRS, and SEC rules applicable to commercial real estate investment funds
  • 7-10 years of commercial real estate fund accounting and financial statement preparation/review leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education an experience is required
  • Ability to effectively lead a collaborative team, where team members may be located in different cities or countries
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
