Salesforce Inc. seeks Lead Enterprise Architect in Chicago, IL:

Job Duties : Serve as an advisor to CIO/CTO/Chief Architect level contacts and their teams as they look to move their business to a cloud architecture. Present Salesforce technology infrastructure, including demonstrating deep familiarity with our platform capabilities, hosting infrastructure, security, and integration capabilities. Presents a future state Salesforce architecture to the customer. Understand the customer’s needs and establish Salesforce products as the best solution that addresses the technical and business requirements. Understand industry trends, stakeholder business objectives, market competition and the existing IT infrastructure, as well as end user pain points, as-is and to-be business processes, and existing deployment schedules. Conduct architecture and technical workshops that may include enablement sessions. Work closely with other elements of the Salesforce organization, including cloud specialists, alliances, sales effectiveness, industry business unit, product marketing to develop and execute internal and external programs and initiatives and to respond to RFPs. Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certification to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position. Advise on recent technology trends as well as latest and upcoming Salesforce features. May be assigned to various, unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements : Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Business, Information and Process Management, Operations Research, or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the field of field of system engineering/program analysis or two (2) years of experience in the job offered OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Business, Information and Process Management, Operations Research, or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of system engineering/program analysis or five (5) years of experience in the job offered.

A related technical degree required (Business, Information and Process Management, Operations Research).

Special Skill Requirements : (1) Force.com platform; (2) Sales Cloud; (3) Service Cloud; (4) Experience Cloud; (5) Marketing Cloud; (6) Functional and Technical Solution Architecture; (7) Integration Patterns; (8) Experience with implementation of software for Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) companies; and (9) IT Governance Models. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Education, experience and criminal background checks will be conducted. May be assigned to various, unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
