Who We Are Looking For


As the Lead Data Analyst within the Enterprise Data and Artificial Intelligence organization you will be a key member of a growing and hardworking team focused on growing Nike's data analytics capabilities. The newest member of our team will be passionate about working through the details to ensure our organization operates efficiently; and has the initiative, and follow-through, vital to handle projects from end-to-end; and can build strong relationships across the extended leadership team. We are looking for a candidate who has proven financial reporting skills, a deep understanding of business process improvements, experience coaching and mentoring junior staff, an attention to detail and quick problem-solving abilities are a must.


What You Will Work On


If this is you, you'll be working with the Global Enterprise Data and Artificial Intelligence Business Operations and Enablement team at Nike. You and your teammates will be part of an empowered, highly capable team collaborating with other technology teams to deliver on Nike's Global Technology business priorities. You'll be communicating insights to leaders across our function who can use your analysis in their decision-making process, driving the creation of an operational dashboard to be reviewed monthly (or weekly) by our senior executive leadership team, and performing and delivering consistently trustable, precise and actionable quantitative and qualitative analyses. You'll also coach and mentor other analysts in building standard methodologies across the Enterprise Data and Artificial Intelligence Business Operations and Enablement Team.


Who You Will Work With


You will be collaborating with the Planning Manager of the Business Operations and Enablement for Entreprise Data & Artificial Intelligence. Your regular interactions will include, but will not be limited to, our senior leadership team members (Senior Director), Global Technology partners (procurement, finance), and Portfolio management team.


What You Bring


To make it clear, we're not looking for just anyone. We're looking for someone special, someone who has these experiences and clearly demonstrates the following skills:


  • Advanced knowledge of finance and/or accounting budgeting and forecasting concepts
  • Experience working on a Business Operations Team for a large technology organization (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree Minimum 4 years of total relevant work experience
  • Willingness to adapt and thrive in ambiguous environments
  • Ability to establish an independent view, while effectively collaborating with peers in a team environment
  • Highly skilled in both verbal and visual high-profile communications
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and creative thinking
  • Proficient in Power BI, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (or equivalent)
  • Exceptional problem-solving, business judgment, and analytical skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to build key relationships with a wide spectrum of partners, ranging from senior leadership to entry-level professionals
  • Strong initiative and independence, needing limited oversight and ability to self-manage assigned projects
