Job Description

Roles:

This role is seeking a Senior LDAP Engineer for the CDSN LDAP Engineering team in the Identity and Access Services space on the SSO Core Platform Engineering team who has experience with directory server solutions. This senior engineer will work in an agile environment, use Jira as the workflow tool, and collaborate closely with all levels of the organization to provide outstanding engineering and support services. Serves as a fully seasoned / proficient technical resource; provides tech knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributor. Will not have direct reports but will influence and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations.

Typically 4 or more years of systems engineering experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect secure Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Support after-hours production deployments for PingDirectory Server Suite integrations and other infrastructure maintenance activities which involve communication and coordination with engineering, operations, project management, and customer application resources to ensure the scheduled deployments are successful
  • Understand and utilize basic network, virtualization, and datacenter technologies for deployment strategies of LDAP / Directory infrastructure.
  • Support the installation, configuration, administration of PingDirectory Server Suite
  • Be actively involved in audit-related activities and provide second level troubleshooting of PingDirectory Server Suite
  • Support the installation, testing and deployment of new versions of software, hotfixes and security fixes
  • Provide consultancy in planning, testing and documenting the environment changes for the existing environment and new integrations
  • Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.
  • Configure connection policies, alert handlers, replication topology, management of bulk transactions, and recommend solutions to potential performance issues
