Role Overview:

As a Laundry Room Attendant, you play an essential role in our operations. Responsible for maintaining the integrity and cleanliness of our clients' items, you'll be at the heart of ensuring every piece returned is in pristine condition.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Employ effective techniques to treat stubborn stains, ensuring the pristine condition of each laundered item.
• Seamlessly collaborate with housekeeping and management, ensuring a constant supply of fresh linens, towels, and uniforms.
• Expertly operate industrial-grade washing machines and dryers, ensuring their longevity with periodic maintenance checks.
• Keep an updated inventory of laundered items, ensuring minimal discrepancies.
• Foster a culture of cleanliness: Regularly sanitize machines, clean lint traps, and ensure the laundry room remains uncluttered and hygienic.
• Continuously upgrade knowledge regarding fabric care, machine operations, and effective laundry chemicals.
• Efficiently categorize, wash, dry, and fold laundry items, be it everyday clothing, intricate garments, or bulk bed linens.
• Adhere to safety and health guidelines, promoting a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Capacity to multitask in a bustling environment while maintaining an impeccable eye for detail.
• Proficiency in handling and maintaining laundry equipment.
• Physical stamina to handle rigorous activities and the ability to lift substantial weights.
• Flexibility in work schedules, including readiness to take on weekend and holiday shifts.
• Strong understanding of laundry chemicals, fabric care, and stain removal techniques.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Relevant certifications in hospitality or housekeeping are a plus.
• Prior hands-on experience as a Laundry Room Attendant, or an analogous role in a commercial setup.
