West Chicago Terrace is an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) that has 120 Intermediate Care beds with 5 wings, proudly serving the behavioral/psych population.

What you will do in this role: When you are a patient, talking to the person who washes your clothes can be the highlight of your day. As a Laundry Aide you will help keep things neat and tidy. This could involve sorting clothes, folding laundry, keeping clean linen. .

• We do whatever is needed to support the sanitation needs of the center.

Qualifications

Laundry Aide: Officially we title this job a Laundry Aide, but in other centers it may be called a Laundry Attendant, Environmental Services Assistant or Laundry Aide

What we need from you:

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be physically capable of walking and prolonged standing, bending, pushing and pulling weights exceeding 150 lbs.
• Must be 18 years of age or older

• We follow the CMS & IDPH rules for the Covid-19 vaccine. You should be fully vaccinated or you will be required to submit an exemption. Details will be discussed during your interview.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and criminal history background check
