Lash Technician ( Contract) Jobs

THIS POSITION IS FOR A CONTRACTED EMPLOYEE.
EMPLOYEE WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR WEEKLY BOOTH RENT OF $100 a week.

The qualifications of an eyelash technician include the following:

• Licensure by the Board of Cosmetology for an Eyelash Technician or Eyelash Salon Manager
• The ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.

Duties include and are not limited to:

• Adhering to salon hygiene standards.
• Giving clients aftercare advice and product recommendations.
• Completing consultations to determine the ideal eyelash extension color and length for the client.
• Educating yourself on the most recent eyelash extension methods and supplies.
• Performing other cosmetic eyelash procedures, such as eyelash tints and lifts.
• Maintaining constant contact with clients.
• Putting on eyelash extensions in a careful and safe manner.
• Setting up new workspaces for every client. Maintaining a clean workspace
• Purchasing cleaning supplies, adhesives, and eyelashes.
• Applying eyelash extensions by individually gluing lashes to natural lashes using a specialized adhesive.
• Meeting with clients to learn about their needs for eyelash extensions.
• Accepting payment and arranging for follow-up visits.
• Conducting a complete client consultation.
• Ensuring that before application, the client’s eyelashes are cleaned.
• Observing all Minnesota state laws and regulations regarding the cleaning and disinfection of tools and implements.
• Advising clients on the best products for maintenance and aftercare.
• Keeping yourself clean at all times to avoid contracting infections and other harmful conditions.

If offered employment you would be considered an independent contractor of Luxe Lash and will be responsible for your own schedule, bookings, supplies, and payments. We do have walk ins and you are always welcome to service those customers.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour
