Laboratory Technician Jobs

As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for conducting routine laboratory tests, including the necessary checks and operations of equipment required in the laboratory. Perform moderately complex assignments which are non-routine which may include equipment, facilities, or product design. May provide records of such equipment and others to the customer representative at the customer site.

As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining equipment in proper working order and maintain a clean work area
• Practicing safe work habits, including complying with all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations
• Performing quality control and calibrate equipment if necessary
• Performing routine and non-routine tests and analyses using the appropriate technical equipment and instruments
• Preparing and supervise experiments
• Receiving or collecting, as well as processing, samples
• Calculating test results, and log and report results using a computer

To be successful in this role you will require:

• B.S with minimum 5 years’ experience, and/or M.S. with minimal experience to include internship experience.
• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED), with at least 5-10 years’ experience.
• LabView experience preferred but not required
