Job Summary

• The Laboratory Technical Assistant organizes specimen collection requests, performs patient clinical laboratory specimen collection procedures, specimen transport, specimen processing, testing dispersal, point-of-care testing procedures, and other pre analytic functions following established standards and practices.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 7:00am-6:00pm, EO/4th wknd; 80hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
