Responsible for testing a component, feature and or feature set. Works independently and contributes to the immediate team and to other teams across business. Contributes to quality engineering discussions.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure proper analysis and documentation of test results.
  • Understand and provide input around labor and delivery workflows.
  • Actively participate in Design Failure Mode Analysis and Use Failure Mode Analysis.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and UX teams on Formative and Summative test initiatives.
  • Recommend and implement improvements. Interpret requirements for testability and ensure coverage in test case design.
  • Work closely with the scrum team to drive, implement and maintain validation tests for a Medical Device in an agile environment.
  • Work with team to define and configure test environments that mimic a clinical setting.
  • Work with fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions. Drive test strategies, testing best practices and ensure solution is of the highest quality.
  • Ensure all testing deliverables are of high quality and compliant.
  • Assess impact of design changes to determine optimal level of testing. Understand and apply principles of SDLC and methodologies such as Lean/Agile/XP, Documentation Practices, and Testing Techniques.

Required Qualification

  • Working knowledge of Perinatal IT solutions
  • Willingness to learn new concepts, testing best practices and software development
  • Working knowledge of word and excel (or equivalent tools)
  • 2 years of experience with Information Technologies and clinical system configuration
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • 4 years of experience in NICHD fetal strip interpretation
  • 2 years of experience as a Charge nurse
  • 4 years of clinical L&D experience
