Labor And Delivery Nurse

As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play an essential role in ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and infants during one of the most critical moments in their lives. You will also be responsible for providing emotional support and educational resources to patients and their families. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
• Educate patients on prenatal and postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care
• Monitor the health and progress of mothers and infants throughout labor and delivery
• Administer medication and assist with pain management
• Assist with c-sections and other medical procedures as necessary
• Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
• Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families

Requirements

• Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients and families
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Availability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of obstetric and neonatal medical terminology, procedures, and medications
• Active RN license and certification in Labor and Delivery Nursing
• At least 2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
