Job Description

A lab technician position is available at the University of California, Irvine in the laboratory of Dr. Stanley Ng. The successful candidate will contribute to the generation of multiple datasets from biological tissues, including spatial and single-cell gene, protein, mutational, methylation, and other data types. Bioinformatic pipeline development and downstream analyses will be performed to identify molecular features of tissue clones that are predictive of disease development/progression, malignant transformation, and treatment-specific resistance. These studies will facilitate the identification of novel risk markers and therapeutic targets. The development of biofluid-based molecular risk and treatment response predictors using statistical models will also be investigated.

Total Compensation:

In addition to the salary range listed below, we offer a wealth of benefits to make working at UCI even more rewarding.
