INOVA Fairfax Central Processing team is seeking a Part Time Lab Technician Assistant to join their team! Hours: 03:00-07:30

Requirements for consideration:

Minimum Education:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Years of Experience:

  • Preferred: one year of experience working in a clinical laboratory environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Performing billing/registration procedures accurately and efficiently in order to ensure regulatory compliance is required.
  • Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with team members to optimize job performance and foster working relationships.
  • Managing specimen accessioning accurately/efficiently to provide quality specimens for Laboratory testing is expected.
  • To help achieve our mission, you will ensure accurate specimen processing to maintain specimen integrity.
  • Your ability to verify product and/or test components when processing is of vital importance.
