About Your New Role
  • In the case of no knife work to be done on the line there is an expectation to assist in other roles (packing, sorting, OCM etc)
  • Operates Case Ready Machines (e.g. Bandsaw, Grasselli, Dicer, Pickle Injector, Brine Tank etc.) in accordance with OHS and QA requirements
  • Support other knife-hands
  • Crate Retrieval and stacking
  • Work effectively to meet or exceed efficiency & productivity while maintaining high quality standards
  • Reporting any non-conformance primal and/or cuts (eg. Bruising, cyst, primals exceeding fat depth etc)
  • Debagging of primal products according to OH&S, QA and workplace requirements
  • Maintain knife sharpening at the required standard
About You
  • Knife skills & knife care
  • High attention to detail
  • Ensure all PPE & equipment adheres to QA standards
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and a drug and alcohol screen
  • Able to handle repetitive tasks and maintain consistently high quality
  • Adhere to good health & safety practices (eg. Maintaining posture)
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
