Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Key Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist for our Olathe, KS location. This individual will be responsible for maintaining assigned Key Accounts including collecting past-due balances.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
  • Maintain, research, and collect on large volume Key and OEM Accounts to avoid delays in resolving disputed, unpaid invoices
  • Apply cash receipts to assigned accounts in a timely manner, complete daily check of AR inboxes, and serve as point of contact for individual collections
  • Work with management and legal department to secure funds from individuals in a timely manner
  • Maintain Key Accounts by keeping current with all unpaid issues and check applications
  • Communicate with other departments to resolve questions/problems
  • Assist in analyzing web orders in the Fraud Queue
  • Provide analysis to management in regard to key accounts status
  • Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly reports by deadlines given
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
  • Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must have intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet software and have the technical aptitude to handle various customer portals
  • High School Diploma AND a minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or related accounting area
  • Demonstrate ability to be self-motivated with strong problem-solving/negotiation skills
  • Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude, work well with others, and have the ability to prioritize/multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment
Desired Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business
  • Key Account experience
  • Experience with Oracle
