Junior Software Tester Jobs

CommIT Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a temporary part-time Junior Software Tester to join the team in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate is responsible for software test design, planning, scripting and execution for a variety of key customer-facing and other mobile apps. This individual should be self-motivated, creative and proactive, to work successfully in a fast-paced environment including multiple platforms and architectures, diverse technologies and testing environments. This person will also work closely with developers, project manager, client and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC, executing test iterations, tracking & reporting test results, and troubleshooting and coordinating the bug fixes.

Our enterprise systems support includes the Department of Defense’s (DoD) GCCS-MC, CAC2S, TBMCS-MC, and the Department of Veteran’s Affairs’ (VA) telehealth communications. Responsibilities
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to-

• Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate, using JIRA
• Interact with product management, project management, and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives
• Design and create test conditions, test data and test scripts to address business and technical use cases
• Design, Execute and analyze test scripts & test results for iOS and Android Phone apps
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
• Create test documentation and reports as required
• Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases

Qualifications
Required Experience and Education:

• Experience in the Medical field is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to co-ordinate efficiently with client, products, offshore & onshore teams and bridge the communication gaps
• Understanding of current mobile technology and mobile applications
• Great analytical and problem solving skills
• Good experience with different Mobile Operating Systems (iOS, Android Phone)
