Jr. Software Engineer

Are you a tech-savvy, innovative individual with a passion for development and problem-solving? We are seeking a Jr. Software Engineer to join our team in Morganville, NJ.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with both in-house and external developers in maintaining & developing security software as well as improving & developing business systems. The applicant will playing a crucial part in representing the founders interests in implementing and troubleshooting software and hardware in both prototype and real-world settings.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Understand and contribute to hardware development alongside experienced team members.
• Coordinate with in-house and external developers on software and hardware projects.
• Constantly enhance your skills and stay updated with emerging industry trends.
• Implement and troubleshoot software and hardware systems.

Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• AWS Console, Amplify & IOT Core experience is a plus.
• Experience with APIs is a plus.
• Good communication and team-working abilities.
• An understanding of hardware development.
• Proven experience in full-stack development – this could be job-related, from college, or self-taught projects.
• Willingness to learn and understand the hardware side of our business.

The position is based in our Morganville, NJ office. We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000-$60,000, and benefits will be provided after a 90-day period.

Our full-time staff all works together as a team to perform projects in different areas of Construction such as Security Hardware, Electric Vehicle Charging Installations, Retail Construction & General Electrical Work.
