Requirements

:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Junior Security Analyst to join our team. This remote position offers the flexibility of working from your preferred location. We are excited to welcome a passionate individual who is committed to enhancing security practices.

Responsibilities:

• Provide recommendations for security improvements to management and senior IT staff.
• Collaborate in the creation, review, and maintenance of security incident response plans and playbook documentation.
• Contribute to the development of organization-wide best practices for security.
• Stay current with the latest trends in information technology (IT) security and apply relevant insights to our strategies.
• Identify vulnerabilities within our systems, particularly focusing on CorVel systems.
• Prepare comprehensive reports detailing metrics, attempted attacks, and security incidents.
• Engage in Security Audits and maintain relationships with third-party security organizations.
• Proactively monitor our systems to detect and respond to potential security breaches.
• Perform security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis.

Qualifications:

• Strong grasp of policy, compliance, and best practice security principles.
• A minimum of 1 year's experience in the security field, including security policy development.
• Previous involvement in vulnerability assessments and testing.
• Strong organizational aptitude.
• Familiarity with Splunk and PowerBI.
• Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft environments, with at least 5 years of experience.
• Experience in communicating, planning, and implementing security recommendations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
