Jr. QA Analyst

We are looking for a Jr. QA Analyst to join the SDET Team with our partners in the broadcasting and media industry. In this role, you will have the opportunity to test and develop new features based on customer and internal feedback. The purpose of this group is to provide customer experience testing for all consumer products and internal uses. All of the content that is delivered through IP (set top boxes, browsers, androids, etc.) and tested to ensure that the customer experience will be more than satisfactory. This team interacts with developers and other QA testers to verify everything is working.

Responsibilities:

• Willing to take ownership of problems and see them through to resolution
• Work with fellow Analyst and Engineers to provide the testing workflow
• Work with the development and product management teams to understand and contribute to requirements and test cases
• Performs inspections and sets quality assurance testing models for analysis of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products.

Requirements:

• Understand the foundational concepts of Java or Python Programming
• Ability to works under immediate supervision and within a team.
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Any automation background with python would be desirable
• Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area, or relevant experience through bootcamp/certifications
• Manual testing experience (i.e How do you verify test steps, test plan, bug report, etc.)
• Linux Background
