Junior Medical Writer Jobs

This is a part-time Medical Writer opening with a Biotech Company!

This role will primarily support the Director of Scientific Communications and will involve a variety of responsibilities including strategic planning, meeting attendance, and medical writing. The ideal candidate will have expertise in drug-related content and possess strong communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Drug Expertise:

• Provide valuable insights and input on drug-related topics and projects.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements, research, and regulations in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Possess a thorough understanding of pharmaceutical products and drug development processes.

1. Right Hand to Director of Scientific Communications:

• Assist the Director in coordinating and managing scientific communication initiatives.
• Collaborate on various projects, ensuring effective communication and timely completion of tasks.
• Work closely with the Director to prepare strategic planning slides, reports, and presentations.

1. Meeting Support:

• Take accurate and detailed meeting minutes.
• Summarize discussions, decisions, and action items in meeting reports.
• Attend meetings with the Director and other relevant stakeholders.

1. Plain Language Communications:

• Ensure complex medical information is presented in an easily understandable manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with guidelines.
• Develop clear and concise "plain language" communications for both internal and external audiences.

1. Literature Summaries:

• Generate weekly literature summaries for the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team.
• Review scientific articles, clinical papers, and relevant literature.
• Distill complex information into succinct summaries to keep the MSL team informed.
