Job Description
Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior/Entry-Level Full-Stack Developer to join our dynamic Development team. As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our software, supporting the existing server infrastructure and contributing to the planning of future development iterations. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, working with various departments within our Company.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with AWS Network Systems (domains, DNS records, servers).
  • Troubleshoot and maintain existing portfolio of websites with front-end and back-end support.
  • Work with developers and content producers to ensure websites are optimized for security, speed and accessibility.
  • Develop and Maintain AWS Lambda Nodejs functions.
  • Ability to take and apply direction and constructive feedback.
  • Work on tight deadlines and in a high-paced work environment.
  • Identify areas of concern with web properties and provide solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of AWS API Gateway, AWS Lambda
  • Ability to perceive
  • Understanding of JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Working knowledge of Serverless environments
  • Visual acuity for reading and using the computer
  • 1+ years of web development experience in a professional environment
  • Experience with Sass, Bootstrap
  • Previous CMS experience (WP theme and plugin development a plus)
  • Ability to communicate with others in order to exchange information
  • Ability to be highly adaptable
  • Experience with AWS is a must
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use the phone/computer/keyboard/mouse/general office equipment for extended periods of time
  • Knowledge of Redis, DynamoDB, WordPress, and any other AWS services is a plus
  • Version control experience and solid understanding of Git
  • Ability to freely move about the office or remote working environment
  • Knowledge of Aurora SQL/MySQL and MongoDB is a must
  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing
  • Understanding of HTML5, CSS, jQuery
  • Fluency in the English language
